Dr. Paul Ryan is a board-certified Orthopedic physician specializing in comprehensive foot & ankle surgery, including: sports medicine, arthritis, total ankle replacement, instability, cartilage restoration, deformity correction, minimally invasive surgery, lapiplasty, and trauma.

Dr. Ryan received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, completed a Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship from the American Sports Medicine Institute. Dr. Ryan has published over 50 articles in medical peer reviewed journals and has given lectures across the United States. Dr. Ryan served 30 years in the United States Army where he deployed to Afghanistan five times and trained Army Orthopedic Surgeons as the Program Director at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI.

Dr. Ryan is excited to bring his experience to Lake Tahoe and be a part of the greater Lake Tahoe Community. Dr. Ryan remains an avid triathlete and looks forward to skiing and snowboarding each Winter.

I've spent the last fifteen years helping soldiers stay on their feet as a surgeon in the US Army, and I'm looking forward to working with the active population here.
