Been a little over 2 years since my left hand Skier’s Thumb (ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction) and CMC joint (so I’d be able to mt. bike again) surgeries, so I can truthfully assess the outcome. He made the right call fixing my Skier’s Thumb via MP joint arthrodesis (for my rigorous sport lifestyle) versus repair and that joint is as solid as can be. I can do everything similar to before my hand problems surfaced. Dr. Robertson is a reserved doctor that doesn’t talk your ears off, but he's really competent in his work and that's all I care about. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my hand surgeries! Thank you Dr. Robertson - J. Ratz

Dr. Ryan certainly knows his business when it comes to dealing with the foot and ankle. Dr. Ryan is very patient and listened very closely as to what I was telling him regarding my condition. Dr. Swanson gave me my lifestyle back. After visiting another orthopedic surgeon in the area (different clinic) who told me that surgery would not help my knee and I just have to live with it, Dr. Swanson did arthroscopic surgery, cleaned up the meniscus and bone spurs, and I'm back to downhill skiing, snowshoeing, and long-distance cycling. I feel lucky that I had such a great surgeon. Every follow up appointment down in San Francisco I had came with glowing reviews from the doctors. "It's almost completely anatomically correct" said one. I actually saw Dr. Robertson in the ER at Barton Memorial Hospital after a fall on the ice. I had a broken wrist. Dr. Robertson was just wonderful. He was able to do a closed reduction to reset the bones in my wrist and didn't push me to have surgery. I've made a complete recovery and feel great! - Linda K.
