    Our expedited Medical Assistant Program includes topics and hands-on practicum in both administrative and clinical areas.   • Certified Nursing Assistant Program
    The two month Certified Nursing Assistant Program prepares students to perform a variety of clinical duties in various Skilled Nursing Facility environments. Completion of the program provides eligibility to take the nursing assistant certifying examination that is approved by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).   • Health Care Career Observership (HCCO)
    An introductory program for students who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Open to high school and college students, aged 16 or older, students shadow multiple clinical departments and learn about a wide array of medical careers. As a partnership between Barton Health and Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC), students will complete the observership at Barton Health and will enroll in LTCC to complete the accompanying online coursework.
