The Attic Thrift Store opened in 1962 in South Lake Tahoe in the attic of the former Bijou Center, which is how the thrift store got its name.

Shopping at The Attic Thrift Store can be a fun experience. We can dress you from head to toe! You can find great items for your home or office.
Donations:
Donations of sellable items are accepted, as well cash donations. We gladly accept clean clothing, jewelry, accessories, quality household items, furniture, toys, books, antiques, collectibles, etc.
Some of the items we DO NOT ACCEPT include: TVs, computers, microwave ovens, mattresses, sleeper sofas, child car seats, and cribs that do not meet government regulations. We also don’t take items on consignment. All donations are tax deductible. Proceeds benefit healthcare services for our community as provided through Barton Memorial Hospital.
